1.29.2011 Travel log

Went to the airport Wednesday in East Wenatchee.  Got on the plane at about 5:30.  Had a very short flight to Seattle.  Ate a Baconator at Wendy’s.  Wanted the cool super magnets from Fireworks.  Mom said no.  Flew to Atlanta at 11 p.m.  Got to Atlanta at 6:30 in the morning their time.  FROZE waiting for the free shuttle to Econolodge.  Slept 4 hours.  Went to the largest aquarium IN THE WORLD (more later about that).  Went back to the airport.  At 10 p.m. flew to Ghana.  Sat on the plane a few hours.  Flew to Nigeria – about 15 ½ hours for that part.  Found out that our visas were expired.  Waited under house arrest for one or two hours.  Went on a plane to Ghana, sat around, got back to Atlanta 17 ½ hours later.  And, here we are waiting until Monday to try to get our paperwork straightened out.  Then we’ll fly to Nigeria again.  It was fun (just joking).
